Education

Understanding the value of lifelong learning, Senator Steele wishes to instill this desire in the hearts of American, starting with the children. With American test scores decreasing, Steele hopes to revamp our education system to help inspire children to learn. She wants to improve American teachers and provide them with the opportunities needed in order to teach our children successfully.

Economy

With Senator Steele's graduate degree from Harvard Business School, she has the knowledge to back up her beliefs. Because of America's Free Market Economy, success can only come when the government stops interfering with it, which is exactly what Steele has in mind. Steele believes that the economy should be left up to the consumers: the citizens of America. Because of this belief, Steele wishes for the government to cut their funding in many aspects of the buracracy and open those agencies up to the public to create more competition to improve our great nation.

Space Exploration

Since she was an NASA Astronaut, Senator Steele is extremely passionate about exploring the new frontier: space.  There are still many questions left unanswered about our universe, and Steele hopes to encourage her fellow Americans to help answer them. Space has many great offerings to us, from helping military defense with orbiting satellites  to studying weather patterns to more accurately predict it on Earth.

Political Views

Being a Republican from Virginia, Senator Steele holds true to many of her party's beliefs.  Steele wishes to limit governmental involvement in society and allow the people to be accountable for the economy and innovation of the country. Living so close to where she works, she sees daily how vast and huge our government has become, and hopes that one day it will be much smaller again. Steele is a large advocate to help improve America's standing position in the world, which often encourages her to be involved with helping American youth in order to have powerful leaders in the future. Steele adheres to her constituents wishes, but also bases her decisions on what will help America in the long run, following the politico model of representation.
